Know When To Go to the ER

Get emergency care right away if you or a loved one experiences any of these symptoms:

  • Complicated fractures
  • Deep wounds
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Heart attack symptoms (such as chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, extreme fatigue and upper body discomfort)
  • Major head injury
  • Poisoning
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Severe burns
  • Stroke symptoms (such as facial droop, slurred speech and sudden numbness on one side of the body)
  • Vomiting or coughing up blood
