PALM COAST, Fla., September 10, 2019 — AdventHealth Palm Coast has named board certified neurologist Dr. Jose Garcia-Guerra as the physician of the quarter.
He was nominated for this recognition by staff and his physician peers.
“Dr. Garcia is the most passionate physician. He goes above and beyond for his patients,” a colleague wrote in a nomination. “He always takes his time to explain his findings and diagnoses, never rushing, keeping the patients satisfied with his efforts. They love his bedside manner. If a patient calls and wants to speak with him, he personally calls them before the end of the day.”
“He is the humblest person: caring, compassionate, polite and courteous,” a second colleague wrote in a nomination. “He’s also easygoing, patient and understanding, generous and giving.”
