PALM COAST, Fla., January 24, 2017 On Jan. 18, the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation donated three new pieces of equipment to the hospitals Freytag Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.
The donated recumbent bicycle and stationary upright bicycle help patients recovering from lower extremity injuries and orthopedic surgeries, such as knee replacements, and assist in improving cardiovascular conditioning and overall knee range of motion.
Patients with a wide variety of injuries, including shoulder, back, and knee pain, can use the new Life Fitness Universal Gym Cable Column to perform strengthening exercises with weights.
We are so thankful for this donation, said Luis Hernandez, Florida Hospital Flagler director of rehabilitation services. This new state of the art equipment will truly benefit our patients through their rehabilitation journey.
We are honored to provide equipment that directly and immediately impacts our patients, said John Subers, Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation executive director. This gift would not be possible without the very generous donors in our community.
