28 years ago, Camille Kaldahl, Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development, was born at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. Early in her career, she found her way back to AdventHealth as an intern which turned into a full-time job as an analyst. Camille then joined the leadership residency program and is now a manager on the strategy team.
When Camille found out she was pregnant last year, she knew she needed to go back to where it all started: the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Birth Center. Though she noted that this time around "...the rooms are way nicer! Sorry mom!"
On December 16, 2022, Camille became a patient and a mother for the very first time and gave birth to her daughter, Ellie. She thanked "some of the best nurses out there" for making her birth experience a great one. "It’s been a wild ride falling into health care as a career, but I truly feel like it’s my calling and with moments like this, I know it is."
