Jim Glass, executive director of finance shared services, has been promoted to vice president of shared services - finance and supply chain for Adventist Health System, effective May 28, 2018.
In this new role, Glass will oversee the shared service functions from procurement to payment and other finance related areas. This consists of the finance shared services areas of accounts payable, general accounting and payroll, as well as supply chain shared services, including purchasing, data integrity and the contact center. Glass will continue to report to Penny Johnson, Adventist Health System's senior vice president of finance.

'Jim's talent for identifying the tools needed for process improvement, and his ability to establish and maintain relationships with the marketplace leaders will be key as Adventist Health System expands and increases its reliance on a cohesive shared service operation,' said Johnson.
