Heart disease and stroke kill 1 in 3 women, yet 80 percent is preventable through education and lifestyle changes.
Gordon Hospital employees joined the American Heart Associations Go Red For Women movement this past Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 to help raise awareness and save more lives.
Initiated by the American Heart Association, Wear Red Day is a national awareness movement held on the first Friday of every February created to highlight the number one cause of death among women: heart disease, stroke, and all other cardiovascular diseases.
