PALM COAST, Fla. June 16, 2016 On June 3, Florida Hospital Flagler employees donated their time to volunteer at Access Flagler First and helped box groceries for local families in need.
Led by Flagler County employee Janet Nickels and Pastor Charles Silano of Grace Tabernacle Ministries, Access Flagler First is a monthly event that brings together various agencies that serve residents with individuals who may qualify for their services. It has been referred to as one-stop shopping for various social services available to the poor and homeless, as the initiative offers a wide range of services. Food, clothing, haircuts, flu shots, and medical screenings are all available at the events.
Access Flagler First is free and open to the public, takes place from 1 to 4 pm the first Friday of each month, and operates out of the Cattleman's Hall at the Flagler County Recreation Area at 650 County Road 13.
