ORLANDO, Fla. – AdventHealth has named Jeff Villanueva CEO for AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and the Seminole market, effective Jan. 1, 2023. He will continue to report to Brian Adams, CEO of Acute Care Services for the Central Florida Division – South Region.

"Jeff’s deep experience in mission-focused service and operational leadership, coupled with his people-first approach, will continue to grow and strengthen our Seminole market as we deliver faith-based, whole-person care to the community,” Adams said.
Currently, Villanueva serves as the CEO for AdventHealth East Orlando and the East Orange market. Before assuming this role, he was vice president and administrator for AdventHealth Kissimmee from 2012 to 2016. He also served in the roles of vice president and chief operating officer for AdventHealth Central Texas and administrator for AdventHealth Rollins Brook.
Villanueva earned a master’s degree in health administration from Loma Linda University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Adventist University. He is an active member of the WholeLife Seventh-day Adventist Church and is the vice chair on the executive board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando.
"I’ve had the privilege of building incredible relationships at every campus I’ve served, and AdventHealth East Orlando has been no exception,” he said. “I will treasure the great work we’ve been able to accomplish together and will carry that same commitment and dedication to our people as I join the talented group of leaders, providers and team members at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.”
Villanueva and his wife of 22 years, Shelly, share two daughters, Makayla (17) and Alyssa (16). In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding, waterskiing, trips to the beach and spending time with family. He is also an avid jogger and runs 20 miles a week.
