Adventist Health System has named Lisa Musgrave to the position of vice president of post-acute services. In this role, Musgrave will oversee the strategy, planning, development, and implementation of post-acute services for the health system, as well as the efforts to provide operational support for post-acute services to its markets. She will report to Michelle Givens, senior vice president of post-acute care for Adventist Health System and president/CEO for Adventist Care Centers.
'Lisa brings more than 20 years of health care leadership experience, and I look forward to the impact she will have as she engages and collaborates with our providers, partners and care management teams across the care continuum to ensure seamless transitions for our patients,' said Givens.
Prior to joining Adventist Health System, Musgrave was the senior vice president of care solutions for Navvis Healthcare, responsible for the development of population health/care management platforms and building community networks to bridge the space between payers, providers and patients. Musgrave has also served as vice president of home-based care for Memorial Hermann Health System and chief nursing officer/operations officer for home health and hospice at Intermountain Homecare, a division of Intermountain Healthcare.
'I am excited to join the Adventist Health System team as we strengthen and integrate our networks and services to extend the great care we are known for in the acute setting into the community,' said Musgrave. 'Our teams will actively pursue the best ways to provide wholistic, consumer-focused care for every stage of the health journey.'
Musgrave is a registered nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Jewell College and her Master's in Health Administration from Ohio University. She has served on the Missouri State Home Care board and was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels board. She is an active member of her church and has served in youth and children's ministry for more than 30 years. Musgrave enjoys participating in medical and humanitarian missions in Mexico and Central and South America. She is married to her husband Tom and has two boys, Sam, 14, and Daniel, 11.
