Lorenzo Brown has been named president and CEO for AdventHealth Fish Memorial located in Orange City, Florida. Additionally, Brown will serve as market CEO for West Volusia County, which includes both AdventHealth Fish Memorial and AdventHealth DeLand. Brown will report to David Ottati, president/CEO for the Central Florida Division – North Region.

“Over the years, Lorenzo has proven to be an exceptional, mission-driven leader,” said Terry Shaw, president/CEO for AdventHealth. “With his extensive experience in health care administration, operations and physician relations, and his commitment to our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, I have full confidence that Lorenzo will continue to help AdventHealth deliver faith-based, whole-person care in the West Volusia market.”
In this role, Brown will lead the overall expansion of the West Volusia market, developing and executing strategies that support the total network of care and building influential relationships with key constituents, communities and consumers.
“Lorenzo’s rich experience, familiarity with this market and his passion for our mission will serve our community well as he leads the West Volusia market forward,” said Ottati.
Brown began with AdventHealth 20 years ago serving in multiple leadership roles over the course of his career, including vice president of operations at AdventHealth Kissimmee, assistant vice president of radiology enterprise and most recently as president/CEO at AdventHealth DeLand.
“I am so grateful that I get to continue to be a part of this community. I feel privileged to work alongside our physicians, team members and community partners to extend Christ’s healing ministry and provide exceptional, compassionate care that fosters a sense of wholeness for those we serve,” said Brown.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Sciences in sports medicine from Ohio University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Brown is actively involved in the community and serves on several boards, including the Rotary Club of DeLand, Boys and Girls Club of Volusia County and Bethune-Cookman University.
In his free time, Brown enjoys fishing, watching the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team, reading and spending time with his wife, Dawn, and their two children, Maya (15) and Jonathan (13).
