TAVARES, Fla. — To support Lake County’s growing population, AdventHealth Waterman opened two new specialty clinics in the town of Lady Lake to give patients new, convenient locations offering heart care, physician consultations and follow-up care.

AdventHealth Medical Group opened one clinic, located in The Oaks building at 8575 NE 138th Lane, Suite 101, Lady Lake, on July 8, and it is home to cardiothoracic surgeons Dr. R. Duane Cook and Dr. Gary Allen.
AdventHealth Medical Group opened a second clinic on July 15 in The Summit of Lady Lake Medical Park at 737 Highway 466. This clinic provides access to leading cardiologists Dr. Vatsal Inamdar, Dr. Samuel Goss and Dr. J. Henry Lesmes.
These two clinics come on the heels of AdventHealth opening of a new clinic in April in Leesburg at 801 E. Dixie Avenue, Suite 101, providing women’s health services, cardiology, cardiothoracic and general surgeons.

“We're excited about these new offices, where patients can access essential consultations and follow-up care with their physician closer to home,” said Dr. Gary Allen, board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. “It's a privilege to build relationships with our patients and manage their medical conditions. We look forward to seeing patients in this area.”
All care provided will be delivered by AdventHealth Medical Group clinicians, a team of nearly 400 employed AdventHealth physicians and advanced practitioners representing 30 different medical specialties. With 70 practice locations across Flagler, North Lake, South Sumter and Volusia counties, AdventHealth Medical Group clinicians collectively cared for more than one million patient visits in 2023.
These latest expansions not only reflect AdventHealth’s commitment to enhancing health care accessibility in the county but are also welcome news to area residents.
By expanding local access to specialized care, AdventHealth aims to significantly enhance the patient’s experience, reducing travel time and increasing convenience for medical consultations and follow-ups.
“We are dedicated to delivering exceptional health care that meets the unique needs of our community,” said Abel Biri, AdventHealth Waterman president and CEO. “These new clinics exemplify our ongoing commitment to expanding access to specialized medical services, ensuring individuals and families in Lake County receive compassionate care.”
