Vascular surgeon Dr. Calvin Williams has joined AdventHealth Medical Group and will care for patients at both AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach and AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

With a robust background in treating peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysms and dissections, carotid artery disease, dialysis access, and mesenteric disease, Dr. Williams is committed to providing comprehensive care that addresses the body, mind, and spirit of his patients.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group physician, Williams joins a team of nearly 400 employed physicians and advanced practitioners representing 30 different medical specialties. With 70 practice locations across Flagler, Lake, Sumter and Volusia counties, AdventHealth Medical Group clinicians collectively cared for more than one million patient visits in 2023.
“I look forward to enhancing the vascular care services offered to patients in east Volusia County,” said Williams. “My medical training and approach to treating the whole patient aligns well with the philosophy of AdventHealth and will greatly benefit our patients."
Williams earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Ala. He completed his residency in general surgery at Detroit Medical Center Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Mich., and recently completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, Ala.
